FOSTER CITY, Calif. — A vehicle fire on westbound State Route 92 near the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge caused significant traffic delays on Sunday, August 2, after flames engulfed a vehicle east of the bridge in the Foster City area.
According to traffic authorities, the incident occurred on westbound CA-92 east of the San Mateo Bridge at the High Rise in Foster City, where the burning vehicle forced the closure of the right and center lanes as firefighters and emergency crews responded to the scene.
